HPH Hospice

We understand that hearing the word hospice or making the first call to our organization may be one of the most difficult steps you’ve ever taken. However, HPH Hospice’s (HPH) staff and volunteers are here to ease that heavy burden and provide the best of care and support during your journey. We embrace our patients and their loved ones. 2014 marks HPH’s 30th year of serving terminally ill individuals in Pasco and Hernando counties, making us the original hospice in these areas. In 2005, HPH began serving Citrus County residents. Most HPH Hospice care takes place in private residences, nursing homes or assisted living facilities. HPH also has beautiful, homelike Hospice Care Centers that are for individuals who have a terminal illness and need short-term, round-the-clock care due to a variety of acute medical needs. Care at these comfortable facilities focus on relief of pain and acute symptom management. Loved ones are welcome to stay overnight at any of our Hospice Care Centers or visit whenever they please, day or night.
