Hospice Care Center - Edgewater is a 12-bed care center offers a private, home-like environment with specialized care just steps away. It has a nautical theme which creates a casual atmosphere that is relaxing and soothing. There is a cozy family room with a fireplace and rocking chairs for all to enjoy. Each patient suite has a private bath, scenic patio, individual climate control, private phone, HD television and internet access. Sitting rooms are available that include a sleep sofa that can accommodate two family members. There is a Chapel available for patient and family use. Halifax Health - Hospice has been serving Volusia, Flagler, Orange and Osceola counties since, 1979. It has been our goal is to provide patients and their families with expert and compassionate end-of-life care. Halifax Health - Hospice is dedicated to providing extraordinary, compassionate and professional end-of-life care. Our approach to care is simple. We provide expert and compassionate care to patients and families, while honoring their wishes and assisting in celebrating their lives one day at a time. Every day, our uniquely specialized team of physicians, registered nurses, social workers, spiritual care counselors, aides, bereavement counselors, complementary therapists, and volunteers work collectively to provide exceptional care for patients and families. We believe a person’s life should be cherished and celebrated. We have cared for patients in Volusia and Flagler counties for over 35 years and have become the established not-for-profit leader in providing hospice services in this community. Today, we continue this mission, enabling our patients and their families to make the most out of every moment, especially at the end-of-life.
