Brookdale Citrus is a Lecanto, FL Assisted Living community set on three beautifully landscaped grounds with a courtyard and walking trails. We are located on Highway 486 and close to 491 in the heart of Citrus County. Many county parks are nearby for fishing trips or picnics. The Homossassa Springs Wildlife Park is close by and is a favorite field trip of our residents. Shopping and banking are also convenient to our community. Brookdale Citrus is an active retirement community with a real family atmosphere. We pride ourselves with the feeling that you get when you walk in our front door. All of our senior apartments are studios, and can be friendship or private suites. All suites have private bathrooms and great views of our wooded property. Our community has 79 senior apartments surrounding our great room. They are on one level and all hallways lead to the great room which makes it easy to get around. The great room is adjacent to the country-style dining room for even more convenience. Our residents enjoy visiting before and after meals while chatting about old times.
