Sumter Place is an Assisted Living Community; that provides help with Activities of Daily Living, but also cares deeply about providing social stimulation, ensuring that our Residents are well taken care of and given an opportunity to socialize, make friends, enjoy the arts and music and engage in tremendous activities. The Villages promotes a lifestyle of fun and leisure. At Sumter Place, we want to match that ideal AND meet the care needs of our Residents.
Sumter Place Memory Care; opened in late 2014 with 40 private studios, “neighborhood” concept design, home-like dining rooms on the first and second floor, excellent Memory-Related Disorders programming, outdoor garden and walk-way as well as entertainment and activities throughout the day to engage Residents with dementia or memory-related disorders.
Sumter Place Adult Day Center; (also known as “Nora’s) is open to the public and provides a retreat for those hoping to keep family members at home. The licensed Adult Day Center provides flexible scheduling options and has a full-time nurse on staff providing Individualized Care Plans.
