Our acute inpatient rehabilitation program is the only hospital-based inpatient rehabilitation unit in Sarasota County, with complete medical care and emergency services available for those who need continued physician or nursing supervision. The Pavilion features 54, all-private rooms spread over two floors of the five-story building. Among other unique features, each of the Pavilion’s inpatient floors has its own gym, equipped with the best rehab aids and equipment. Inpatients guests at the Pavilion receive at least three hours of daily, one-on-one therapy. SMH’s Rehab Pavilion has earned the highest level of accreditation from the Commission on the Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF), with additional certification as a Stroke Specialty provider.
