Patients may require rehabilitation services during their hospital stay. Palms of Pasadena's acute care rehab team offers Physical, Occupational and Speech Therapy services to improve function and prepare patients for discharge from the hospital. Services are provided Monday through Saturday, with Sunday coverage as needed. Acute Care Rehabilitation at Palms of Pasadena is a 20-bed specialty-unit that is recognized by Medicare and commercial insurance providers as a setting for patients to receive intensive therapy services and physician services within a hospital environment. Our team of highly trained clinicians provides specialized services to help our patients recover from serious illnesses and injuries such as a stroke, brain and spinal cord injuries, neurological disorders, orthopedic injuries and surgery, amputations and other debilitating conditions. Our goal is to help patients return to the highest level of mobility and independence possible. We provide our services in a comfortable, medically-supervised setting with spectacular views and two therapy gyms. Along with physician and nurse coverage 24 hours a day, we offer the services of a highly trained team of healthcare professionals.
